As Federal and State governments encourage investments in agriculture, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kaduna State command has deployed Agro Rangers to farms and ranches in order to protect farmers and their investments from being attacked by criminals especially kidnappers. Cross River youths have protested the alleged killing of their colleague, Archibong Effiong-Archibong in Bakassi Local Government Area of the state. A middle-aged man named, Femi Onifade has been arrested in Akure, the Ondo State capital by officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for allegedly defiling his two daughters.
