Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL) on Wednesday threatened to deal with any truck conveying northerners into South-south and South-East states.
In a statement signed by the Deputy National Leader of BNYL, and Head of Operations, Biafra Broadcasting Service, BBS, Ebuta Takon Akor, the group said even those in trucks won’t be spared.
According to the statement, some group members have been assigned at borders to keep watch on the trucks.
The group lamented a bomb blast in Imo state, stating that it is yet to figure out those behind it.
“We will deal with any truck driver carrying northerners into our land, and we won’t spare even those in the truck.
“There is lockdown and they have to remain in the North.
“See the bomb blast in Imo State, up till now, we haven’t known those behind it. It is better to act now than when it is too late.”
